IN 1977, SR. BERNADETTE LITTLE RECEIVED THE NATIONAL HONOUR OF THE ORDER OF DISTINCTION (COMMANDER CLASS) AND TWO YEARS LATER; SHE RECEIVED THE PAPAL AWARD OF PRO ECCLESIA ET PONTIFACE IN RECOGNITION OF HER OUTSTANDING SERVICE TO THE NATION IN THE FIELD OF EDUCATION.
